Baci (CH Szizlin Marrick's Baci JH) enjoyed a life of leisure until she ventured into the show ring at the age of 3. She finished her championship in style with 2 Major wins in one weekend. Baci enjoys strutting her stuff in the ring but is at her best in the field. Baci earned her Junior Hunter title in just 2 weekends. She loves to find birds and shows the same enthusiasm time and time again while hunting.

Above is a picture of Baci at Veterans Memorial Park in Bethany. She decided to strike this pose on her own one morning when I was lucky enough to have my camera with me.
(Right) Baci's first win in the show ring was a 3 point major at the Ox Ridge Kennel Club Show on September 24, 2005. She was also selected "Best of Winners" & "Best of Opposite Sex".

(Above) From her second win at Troy Kennel Club October 23, 2005. Nice "free bait" Baci. Notice how her tail never stops? Always happy to show her stuff in the ring.

Baci finished her championship, without me, by winning back to back majors at the Big E in Springfield, Mass. The last victory coming at the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Supported Entry. This is Baci on the day she won her show championship. Shown here from left to right are: Judge Mary Ann Alston, Handler Patsy Dahlinghaus, & CVVC President David Margolin. Thanks to Patsy for handling her when I was not able to do so. She does a much better job anyway (but don't tell her I said so).

Baci came out of a 3 year retirement to show in the Specialty Show of The Vizsla Club of Greater New York, September 6, 2009, in Tarrytown, NY. After winning the Veteran's Class, Baci went on to the Best of Breed ring, where she was awarded a very special First Award of Merit by Judge Honey Ann Glendinning. Our thanks to Susan Potocik for handling Baci at the very last minute, when I was unable to show her. Pictured here are Mary Ellen, Judge Glendinning, Susan Potocik, Baci and Florence Duggan of The Vizsla Club of Greater New York.
(Above)This is Baci's favorite spot in the world during the winter. If we didn't put the spark screen up, she'd try to sleep IN the fire.
(Below)See what I mean.....she's so close her eyes are glowing!
